Software

The USB software is a multi-platform USB implementation which has been specially ported for use under RISC OS. This brings the benefits and improvements from development which has already taken place on other platforms to the RISC OS market.

The developer API is presented as a set of libraries for C and BASIC use. This allows for driver development using a number of different approaches. The API and stack software has been improved over a period of several months by closely working with OEM vendors who are developing device drivers ready for the product launch. Without specific RISC OS drivers the card and stack are of little use so considerable effort has been put into finalizing this area before product launch.
